Challange
Legislative information is scattered, and it is hard to tell where any claim comes from.
Laws, votes and parliamentary activity live across several official sources. Citizens, journalists and researchers have no single place to search them, and no easy way to check where a summary came from.
Goal
A public platform where every law, vote and parliamentarian traces back to the official record.
Build a Romanian-language platform for searching legislation, people, parties, committees and votes, where AI-written summaries support the source and never replace it.
Solution
Provenance first: the page stays useful without AI, and says so when data is missing.
A pnpm monorepo with a Next.js 16 site, a Fastify ingestion API and CLI, and parsers for official sources, on a 35-table Supabase PostgreSQL schema with row-level security on every table. Official dossiers are collected and imported in resumable batches, and laws can be enriched with AI titles, descriptions and impact text.
